I've never fished it before, but looks like a neat lake. I'm sure there's no shortage of shallow bite during the summer, but it also looks like there's a lot of offshore possibilities as well. Any thoughts?

Two wrongs don't make a right , but three lefts do.
Never been on Nimrod, but that is going to change soon. I’ve heard it was a good lake, and it’s only two hour drive for me.

The offshore bite there is phenomenal! Be very careful and do not get out of the channel unless idling until you learn how to run it.
It's friggin awesome....but definitely know where you're running. Had some absolutely stupid days over there. IMO, it's the best kept secret for bass fishing in Arkansas. Keep it labeled as a crappie lake.
I’m definitely going to give it a shot soon. Just looking at a topo map it looks pretty awesome.
