Has Mercury brought out a new, heavier built, Fury prop?

I have a buddy ask me if I have seen any of the new Fury 3 props available. He is looking for a 23P. He claims that the new props are heavier built than the regular props. So, are they built heavier and are they available?

I think they are the same castings, they do far better balancing
Fury 3 have never had a durability problem. Rare to see broken blades on them. Personally I never seen one crack. Read about a few though.
    Thank You Leon Pugh

The new ones or old ones? The vintage I have are notorious for slinging blades.

My rig came with a Fury 3 and I soon traded it for a Bravo FS.

The Fury props I heard about slinging blades were Fury 4 blade models.

four blade are, rare the three. I have seen more bravos and tempest lose blades than 3 blade fury's and there far more out there than the other two combined.
I dont know where these rumors are coming from. 4 blades it was a big issue for awhile. I personally do not know of a single fury 3 failing and I am around them constantly between tournament fishing Bass boat service and repair fulltime.
    Thank You Leon Pugh

I had a Fury 3B 23P that developed a crack. I got lucky and found it while wiping the boat down. Sent it to Mark and its as good as new now.
