    What’s a fair offer for this XB21?

Found this boat I’m considering buying. It’s a 2006 XB21 with a 2017 SHO. I know the setup isn’t ideal but I’m a master test and tune type of guy so I’m up for the challenge of setting it up. Eventually I’d either do a sporty conversion or swap to a 250R.

Anyways, what’s a fair price for this? Hours unknown, has two 8’ blades, a Helix 10 & 12 and a Ghost trolling motor.

If max speed is your desire and you're considering a 250R, I would pass on the purchase.

Hours unknown is the biggest challenge in giving an good answer to your question. I’d pull nada/jd power boat values online to get a ballpark would be where I’d start.

Not knowing hours or condition I would think it would fall in the 35K to 42K range.

Thats probably the best bang for the buck out there, given the owner is close on the price. I think rward69 asking amount is right where it should be. The Ghost and the blades are a bonus.

Looks like Greg Copes old boat, if so it was the first single console out of the mold to my knowledge. It should roll pretty well with the SHO

Finally had time to test the boat, he got on plane but didn’t do and full speed runs. Maybe 65-70mph.

I drove it for 10 minutes just to feel it. It jumps on plane fast, different than what I’m used to though. It blows out on break over, have to let off to catch the prop, then hammered down.
Felt it get on the plate for a split second but let off because it felt like it was about to blow out. The owner wasn’t a good driving coach lol. Said forgot to tell me when you feel the boat come out onto the plate, you have to jerk the wheel left to stay up out of the water and drive on the plate?

But I’m on the fence, the only working battery on board was engine starting. There’s 4 other batteries that were bad, so that left me with 15k+ worth of questionable electronics. Power pole blades, Atlas Jack, Lowrance Ghost, Helix 10&12, Bluetooth stereo, dash gauges, pumps etc could not be tested. Has two onboard chargers as well that are questionable.
And the prop is like a 4 out of 10, trashed as far as I’m concerned. I would probably opt out of the Helix’s as well, they don’t link up to the Lowrance Ghost so GPS anchoring won’t work.
