The new ramp on Prospect is in @ Hinsdale. It's a beauty, but quite steep. IDK what the long range plan is, they spent some $300K, so I imagine that a dock is planned. If you beach currently, it's just riprap. Parking is better than before. The new ramp dumps into the river on the other side of the RR and beavers have stuffed branches into the underpass - so there's no way into the backwater pond that the old launch dropped into.
River is running 49 in the main, 58 or so out of the current. Not much life evident, so I pulled out and headed to Stoddard.
Island is at 55-58. Things were pretty quiet until I got into a big batch of dinks in the narrows (20 or so), but I didn't boat a keeper... did manage to lose one that ate a jig however. Those litter fellers retired a couple of F11 baits for me:(

Some schools of bait moving into the marshy areas. I've seen the golden shiners spawning in there in past years, so it's probably them. The big fish have to be near.
