Nice thing about Ouachita is I can sleep in my own bed here in the Little Rock area. Would be roughly 3 hours round trip each day the rally is going but I'm kinda OK with that.

Treat others like you want to be treated when on the water EVEN WHEN IN A TOURNAMENT! No fish is worth having a confrontation because you cut someone off or came in on top of someone.

What we've done in the past for rallies is to have a get together the evening before the derby with everyone, eat and have a few beers and sponsor drawings, then have a derby the next day. Some of the more regional type rallies will sometimes involve multiple days of get togethers along with two days of fishing.

This sounds cool. Depending on my work schedule, I'm interested.

If this materializes, I would most definitely consider going. I need to meet a few fellow Arkansas fishermen since I'm currently boatless.....

I believe we've drawn enough interest to dig look seriously at it. I'm kind of leaning towards the weekend of October 28th. Muzzleloading season is out for most of the state on the 23rd, and I'm not seeing any conflicting bass tournaments that we would have to compete with. So check your schedules and see if you can make that work out.

That's the BASS nation state tourney on Felsenthal. I will not be attending that if there's a rally.

But basically you'll just have to pick a weekend and run with it....there's likely to be something nearly every weekend.

If it were me I’d choose two weekends and then pick whichever one has the most interest. I think this way you could maximize turnout. If I end up with a boat I’d probably be interested depending on what weekend.
