Nitro Z21 xl - prop question

I’m new to the group and looking for some help with a new boat setup.
    I have a new 2023 Z21 xl on the way with a Merc 250 pro XS 4 stroke with a Bob’s 12” Jack plate.
It will have a 24 fury from the factory which is pretty standard.
    4 AGM batteries, no poles
I fish a lot of big water up north, what 4 blade props is everyone using?
    Fury 4, Bravo 1?
I’m just looking for info to point me in the right direction.
    Thanks

Well I have a 23p Fury on my boat. I doubt I could turn a 24p to recommended rpms

I have not had a problem with my Fury 3 loosing bite, just have not had a reason to switch to a 4 blade. Fury 4 and the bravo are good choices though.

    Thanks for the info Brian.
    I appreciate it!
I talked to the dealer and the boat will will come with a 23 fury not a 24.
The research I’m finding is that the Bravo 1 XS is the way to go.

I think the Bravo XS 26p will be the right prop, If u choose the Fury4 stay with a 23.

Rad has some real world experience.... 26 maybe too stiff. 24-25.

your suppose to add 2 pitches from what your currently running. when converting from Fury to Bravo

23 Razor XL from Mark Croxton is also a good prop for a big boat

I don't think the Bravo will be faster than the Fury. And on these newer hulls the fury really gets the hull out of the water.

Do you keep the front storage of your boat full of tackle or keep it pretty light? Not sure why I'm not seeing much bow lift.

On another note, do you run your prop with all the vent plugs closed?

all my tackle and soft plastics in the 2 front compartments. Don't have alot in the right storage box. 2 lowrances up front. I did raise the motor from factory, i'd have to look and see what the vent plug config is.

    My boat gets lift.

Hmmm interesting. I have a bobs on mine and get almost no lift outta the fury 23. Just plows water. I keep the two front center compartments full to the brim with tackle.

Mine also will blow out during the holeshot unless my jackplate is buried as low as it goes. Might look into a 4 blade or get the fury 3 worked on

    Update:
I picked up the NEW 2023 Z21 XL a couple weeks ago.
It came from the factory with a 24 Fury 3 blade.
I got it through 3 hours of break in and I'm starting to open it up.
I have the 12" Bob's, I hit the hole shot button and the boat is a rocket out of the hole.
I'm coming out of a Ranger and I'm really impressed so far.
I keep everyone posted with RPM's over the next couple of weeks with the 24 Fury 3 Blade as I get further along with break in.

if your running a 4 stroke plug all the holes the 4 strokes dont need the ventilation. i had the same issue couldnt get on plane with out the jackplate all the way down. now after plugging the holes i can run the jackplate up alot before i blow out.
