    Transom

Kevin redid mine but it is slightly not true. Extension plate on, dry run so to speak. Tight at top and bottom, but light in the middle, any ideas?

I haven't had mine done, I'm not a fiberglass guy and no clue to a proper answer. Have you tried to contact Kevin?

Mine has a 1/32 to 1/16 (can't measure to be exact) plastic (not exactly sure of material) sheet between the jack plate and the transom. It came that way from Stroker when I bought the boat. I plan one removing the Engine/setback/jack plate in the near future to replace bolts. I should have done it 2 years ago when I had the gas tank out.

You may have already done this, but I would definitely ask Kevin what to do.

What are you doing for a high speed transducer? I mounted my 3-1 transducer just behind and even with the pad but still loose depth info when I get on plane.

I use the navigation chart on the graph while on plane. Launch the boat / idling out of no wake zone and turn the jackplate mounted transducer on to get a depth reading then see how it compares to the chart depth reading. Manually adjust the water level / depth coloring if needed

My 3 in 1 is mounted on the bottom of the hole shot plate CB made. I loose the bottom with it but also have the puck glassed in under the glove box witch is good to about 65 like Ron's.

Yup, but wrong, puts far too much load on plate.

Mine came from the factory 23 years ago setup just like Paul described. Never had an issue.

Mine also but had slack in big time. Seastar said do that way. Have to say, worked like a dream. Just ran mine yesterday. 5/8 bolts in transom, 9/16 grade 9 from static plate to jackplate, 6 of them, 9/16 grade 9 to engine, 6 bolts also. New plate works amazing

I have pulled mine twice since I got the boat. Neither time was easy.
