Atlas jackplate stuck

So after the long winter I pulled the boat out getting ready for a trip tomorrow morning. I ran the jackplate up to make sure it was working. It’s still cold here and the plate went up but slow and a little rough, shaking and sounded a little strained. It got to 5 and stopped. I tried to lower it and it went down to 3 and stopped. I let it sit for a little bit and raised it back to 5 and now it’s stuck. The motor sounds like it’s running rocks through it. I tried bypassing the relay to no avail. I was wondering if there is a manual release to lower the motor so I can at least go out in the morning. Thanks
The boat was purchased new last August and was put away for winter in November.
