1850 Reata Bow Mounting Electronics Options

Hello! I have not posted here in a while. I appreciate all of the help and advice that you offer!

I have an older Reata 1850VS. The factory option for mounting any electronics is pictured here: 20230331_174441.jpg

The flush mount only allows for a 5" fish finder and the angle makes you have to bend down to step way back to see if graph. I would like to find a plate, preferably made out of aluminum, that will replace the faux wood plastic that would allow a mount to be directly affixed to it. Anyone tackle this issue?

I would contact board sponsor Precision Sonar about making you a plate. It might be a custom build, but they are typically helpful and definitely knowledgeable.

A gentlemen from Precision Sonar responded to me email quickly. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide a plate that would work. I am wondering if anyone has tackled this issue in getting the bow unit mounted at a different angle so it can be more easily seen while standing?
