    8XD and 10xd rod

What rod are y’all using? Dobyns always gets lots of love but their handles are too short. Been posted on other sites recently with little feedback, curious what y’all are using?

I’m a Power Tackle fan but curious what else is out there.

I use the 7’11 Lews David Fritts rod. Works great for me and is at a great price point.

Just got the new Irod Quercus 7’8” and paired it with the new Curado 300 4.6:1 and it handled the Megabass M7.5 deep diver great. Down to 25’ and was easy casting and cranking on this 60 year old body. I was pleasantly surprised.

Power Tackle makes excellent cranking rods and used them for years Judy and Tim are amazing people and business owners will do anything for anyone out there that’s for sure. The new St.Croix Legend Tournament and victory line of cranking rods are amazing and so is the Legend Glass line as well. But can’t go wrong with either option you pick!
