RT178 Merc 60hp top speed seems down from other on forum. Tips to increase speed
I have a 2013 rt178 mercury 60hp running a spitfire 10.1 14p 4blade. Two people full of fishing gear I run 31 at 5900-6000rpm. Reading the forum people with the same combo seem to be running 35-38mph. Looking for peoples actual speed or a prop change(have tried a couple others with lower mph) maybe something isnt correct with the mercury? Thanks for the help
