    Question yamaha rigging

    i purchased a boat that had 14 pin mercury harness in it an have a sho 250 motor bought the changeover to yamaha an the only part of the gauge that will work is the volt an light when the key is turned on there is a white an blue wire like the white an blue wire that work the digital gauges if these wires are hooked up will rest of my gauges work my gauges tia.

    neither it is a caymus multifunction guage that does fuel tach trim an water pressure

    The harness coming connecting the ignition switch 6y5-83553-N0-00, see post above, the blue and yellow wires is key on power. This is what you use to turn on the gauge back lighting and amp gauge.

    the guage is not a yamaha guage it is a multi function guage on a new caymas boat it was pre rigged for a mercury

    I read your original post wrong, I thought those two things weren't working. You are going to have to switch to a Yamaha gauge or call caymass and see if they can assist you.

    I think you need to contact the boat builder and/or the gauge maker.
