Timing Light Model For Optimax?

I know this might sound basic and dumb, but can I use my standard automotive timing light on my '05 Optimax 200 and get accurate results?

I ask because I was looking at the back of my Innova box and it says a different model for use on 2 strokes.

I have Innova model 3568, but it says for 2 stroke to use model 5568.
