Looking for prop recommendations. Top speed was about 68mph with a 225 Etec. Hoping for low 70s with the new motor. I fish Lake Erie so rough water handling is very important. I know a lot of people are running scorpions but I’m not sure if that would be a good rough water prop. I’m thinking about a Rubex Pro L4 in 26 or 28 pitch. Thoughts?

I have the rubex pro l4 26 and 28 weather and weight depending. I can bump 70. My boat is heavy..

I have a 2000 model 210 procraft running a 250ss with a 28 x 14.5 old style Suzuki prop. I can run low 70s and it has nice lift for rough water. I also have a 28 pitch Suzuki prop that is the model before the ones that came out with the new engine, and it’s not very good.Haven’t seen the new props though. Both props I have are 4 blade.

Most of the pros running the 250SS are running a 27p scorpion. My boats getting re-powered with the new DF250SSAT and that's what I'm going to run (champion 210 elite).
