2002 Ranger pro charger 3 bank question

My 2002 518VX came with a pro charger 3 bank. It had been a rock for 21 years. After my last fishing trip the third bank had all 5 lights on solid. I thought it was a bad battery. I decided to move banks 2 and 3 and see if the issue followed. Well it did. The 3rd bank has 5 solid lights on no matter if it has a charged battery or a spent battery. Is this charger shot or is there anything I can do?

Did you check the fuse on that bank?

The unit is sealed up solid. No fuse to check

If you got 21 years out of it, that's impressive. I only got 11 years out of mine. I bought a brand new "Pro Charger" that came with my 188VX new (3 Bank) and damn they are expensive. , only to go to Lithium last month so I had to get a new charger. I got a Minn Kota multi charger and I guess Ill be selling my Dual Pro maybe...

Hmm. The last Dual Pro I had (2014) had inline fuses for each bank, right in the battery leads. I’ve had MK chargers since then, because they work better with my lithiums. Sorry if I misled the OP.

Call dual pro if you want one like it. They are great for repairing a bank or deeply discounting a replacement when it’s not repairable.

No John, you are correct the fuses are on the wires themselves, I thought you meant the Dual Pro itself....

The fuses on the lines are usually "Heat Shrinked" in to the fuse holders so he would have to cut the heat shrink off.

I have a 2021 Ranger with the 3 bank Dual Pro and you just pull the yellow caps on the leads apart and the fuse is right there.
