    Power-Pole Charge with Garmin

Does anyone have any idea as to when Power-Pole and Garmin are going to fully support the Charge integration into our Garmin Graphs. Link for info

    LOL ..

Last I heard it was in Garmin's hands from the sounds of it but who knows. It is my understanding that unlike Navico, Garmin and HB are not as open source friendly.. sounds like Apple vs Android type stuff when it comes to apps developers etc.

Well it will only work with the Gateway firmware at .66 and the only way you can get it is with an Iphone as of now. So I hope this helps.

The problem is getting the Gateway updated to .66. I do not have an Iphone so I am stuck until Power Pole gets the update on the Play Store.

I’ve added a Gatway to my setup… Echomap Ultras… the Gate came already updated with firmware .66. My units see it on the NMEA 2000 device list.

However, I’m not getting the gateway to pair successfully with my charge. Not sure what I might be doing incorrectly.

Just curious if anyone has gotten it to work?

Gateway has to MUST be mounted vertically and upright when pairing it to the charge unit. I had to move mine closer to the charge to get it to work.

Ok thanks, that's probably my issue... mine is currently mounted at the console. I was really hoping to avoid fishing a NMEA cable that far.

Are you able to control your poles from your units?

Yes I have the Garmin set up to dual and works just fine. You will have the option of dual or either one.
