    Ranger Z521L Trailer Tires Needed

Time to replace the Kendas. After doing research Ive narrowed it down to Michelin Defender, Goodyear Assurance Maxlife or General Tire Altimax RT43. Anyone have experience with any of these?

If you do a forum search using “Michelin Defender,” Todd, you will find plenty of reading on this subject. Your tires are 17 inch, right? Here is just one of many threads the forum search reveals:

Yeah, 17 inch. Ive read about everything i can. Defenders and Assurance and the Altimax seem to be the best from what i read.

Guys - There is a new tire available. I ordered them from Discount tire as they are the GA distributor. Vision Marine Heavy Hauler 215 / 65 / 17. It's a 10 ply rated at 80 psi. Been in use on 4 trips so far and super smooth.

I decided to also go with the Vision Marine Hauler ST 215/65/17. Car tires do not work for me.. I live in a hot climate and have to pull my boat 2000 miles over some terrible road conditions during summer months .Also to back up to my garage is a ninety degree turn. Puts extreme strain on my side walls.
