    Shout-Out To Drewtick

Just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Drewtick. I just upgraded my trolling batteries to Ionic batteries from Drewtick. I had many, many questions during the process and he patiently dealt with my ignorance on the matter and answered every one quickly. If your on the fence but have many questions like I did don't hesitate to get in touch with him. He'll answer all your questions and once you feel comfortable about it and actually want to order them he gets them shipped quickly at a great price! What more could you ask for?.. Oh yea, did I mention the batteries are AWESOME......

    Thanks Drewtick..

Did you get the battery trays too? I just got my tray for my 60s and quite frankly kind of disappointed in them.

Sharp edge/point on top of the slots. No rubber mat. Battery strap is kind of cheap.

The most curious part for me is the bottom of the tray. So instead of countersunk holes, they are dimpled. So instead of having the entire bottom of the tray supported, you only have 6 high points pressing against whatever mounting surface.

My fixes were added a cheap ratchet strap. Smoothed out the points. Bought a rubber mat and cut it to fit the tray. The thickness of this mat is about the same height of of the dimples. So I cut out another piece to mount between the tray and mounting surface to spread the weight.
