Ark Lancer Pro 7' medium heavy , one of the best all around rods for the money imo. If you wanna spend more, Ark Lancer Pro 7'3 mag medium heavy.

Ark had buy one get on on the Cobb series rods. Heck of deal there. The flippy floppy is one of my go to pitchin rods. I had to change the handle other wise I couldn't use it with the camo foam grip.

I haven't fished every $150 rod on the market, but these are fantastic rods for the money. My only gripe is the reel seat but most don't have any issues with it. I have reel seat issues in general

You can routinely find discounts on most rod companies around 15% or so. With that in mind. I’d say the Ark Essence series is great, Tat elite, Kage, St. Croix Victory.

In the $150 price range the St. Croix Mojo Bass series of rods should be considered.

I have three of them and they perform as well as some of my more expensive rods.

ALX Ikos series - either the Promise or Buzz would check that box.
