Going to take a while to get the hang of this. Tried to dirty the belly up a little, not sure how successful it was...

Success is shown when you catch fish on a bait you put together... It will catch fish!

Looks great to me,,,,,,,,,,,Wish I could do half that good
Looks good to me also. I would never attempt something like that. I’m just a lowly lead melter.
Looks good to me too.
Looks great.
I’ll bet you already caught fish on it

It looks like a white blank half painted. I guess I can’t see the dirtied up belly. Just my initial response

Buddy nicely done for a first try. Guys bustin' your balls have either 1. Never had a first try at painting baits! 2. Never picked up a air brush and try to paint! 3. Have no clue about art and bait painting basics! It takes months of trying to get the handle on painting nice baits. A pro painter in MO told me to paint lines and shapes on cardboard before ever painting a bait. He was correct and he makes 1000's of custom baits. I spent 10-20 hours practicing on cardboard or white art paper before trying my first bait. Remember.....Air pressure, angles, paint types, various colors, all effect the final outcome. Well done sir and it should catch fish. Good luck in your new craft buddy!
I started painting about four years ago, don't get frustrated , PRACTICE and smear a lot of paint around and you will improve. and by the way......that looks very good and will absolutely catch a fish!!! Hopefully you don't become an addict to it like I have. oh new paint color, what's that going to look like, new ink color....lets' try that!!!!! oh transparent, opaque , or glitter paint or glitter mixed with the clear coat or pearl paint with glitter!!!!
And I don't want to get started on all the stencils I've made...….
HAVE FUN!!!!
Looks excellent for your first paint!!
well done
"heard it in a love song.........can't be wrong"
Looks great. I would fish with it and have tons of confidence that the fish would like it too.
BUMP....
I want to see your latest few baits.... Start a new thread
