Picked up a new 23 721. Wanting to add a Huminbird 5 port box. Where is the easiest spot to put it? Up front or inside console? Or rod locker?….. Boat came with 9”. I want to put the two 12” up front. Just not sure if putting the other 9” on console or just leaving the one there…..

When I added dual graphs on my 919, console and bow, I just mounted 5 port switch in rod locker next to fuse block.
I like the rod locker. Console is a PITA to get to if troubleshooting. Pretty sure you can screw to the outside of the rod locker. There's a gap between back of the locker and the hull - scary.

If nothing has changed, mine Hummingbird ethernet hub was mounted behind the bow shroud. Came from the factory like that. There are some nice fiberglass structural ribs in there.
