    Water Pump Question

    I am going to do the water pump on my new to me 175 Pro XS Opti, serial # 1B808588. I did my own service on a 115 Opti but it's been about 10 years. Are you supposed to leave engine in neutral? or shift into forward to make re-installing drive shaft easy.
