Would be nice if they would do same layout as XRS and move console back like the X boats so it would run better.

XRS with a new layout cap, still a 21’10” boat. All storage boxes and rod lockers are finished glass inside, no carpet. Trolling motor area is flat instead of slight curve where a wedge is needed. Deck is longer which moved the coolers back more so passenger now has a footrest/brace they can reach. No performance numbers yet.

2 more decades they might get it right.

Those doors on the front deck are lame...very lame.

Should have cut the gunnel widths on the front deck and made the front deck that much wider. Huge miss IMO on that part of this new top cap. Looks like it would have been very easy to get at least 2 or more inches on each side. That would have been a huge game changer.

Sounds heavier , I see its more and more going towards tourny fishing and away from performance , I can look at the bright side my XRS will no longer be the slow model

Not sure I buy the XRS hull W/different cap. The running shot on the brochure looks like a much deeper V towards the front of the hull.

Other than at the nose, is the deck any wider?

Nope, only 10” wider at the very front, same width elsewhere as XRS besides being a little longer where the storages boxes are behind the rod locker and center box.

Matt told me that you can get the lids also mounted the traditional way, they have even had request to do one lid lifting from the rear and one traditional lid opening to the outside.

Eh, I'd definitely call it an improvement but probably not what I'll be looking for in my next boat.
