    Need to replace winch

Original Fulton XLT on 09 Sabre trailer is failing to crank under load. Looks like bunch of teeth on gears are ground down . Anyone know load capacity I should get. Frequently must crank up last 6-8 “ on ramp; this is where winch fails, under a load. Otherwise it works when not loaded up. I know more is better. An enclosed one I looked at was rated up to 1600lbs, is that enough? Looks like the one that came on trailer is 1400# version.

I would purchase one from the Basscat website that way you know it will be the right one. They have free shipping based on dollar amount ordered.

Geeze...either get the one you have or just go up a grade. Dont get it from bcb unless you want to pay more and freight. If ya have a local store, just get it from there. Cheaper all the way around, and faster if in stock. 1600 or 1400 should be MORE than enough. Hope it helps
