Becker just jumped into 2nd. He is absolutely using FFS. Not that you need it to compete of course.

Ebare may be on his way to having a name like Wheeler if he keeps doing what he has been doing.

He needs to limit out before the clouds burn off if the wind doesn't get up until late. Sun and slick kills the bite on Cherokee

Cherokee this time of year has been an electronics style tournament for a long time. Damiki rig has been winning derbies there before FFS was on every competitors boat. They are dropping to blobs now instead of lasagna on screen lol

I suggest those guys not watch any live Bass Pro Tour footage.
Just be kind to one another. It really is that simple.

Yeah he just caught one in 60 FOW. I'm sure it was just using instinctive fishing skills.

Had to look it up but Wheeler won an Elite there in 2017. If my memory is correct Damiki rig was the buzz word all tournament on Live.

Yep. Every guy in contention right now would be starting at their 2D sonar if FFS didn’t exist. Not trying to say FFS isn’t revolutionary lol. Just that this tournament would be ruled by guys looking at a screen regardless if they had FFS or not

This isn’t a surprise on Cherokee. I would’ve been surprised if it wasn’t won by someone staring at a screen

Any coincidence that the top four guys are all running Garmin electronics with FFS?

LeBrun just caught a 3 lb. smallie on a Magdraft. He saw it come out of a laydown and swim out and get it. He then said he would not have caught that fish without FFS. And yeah they could all fish without any electronics at all and still catch fish, but there's no doubt FFS is being heavily used and it is helping people catch fish they would never catch without it.

Just now Shuffield, looking at his FFS said "there's a nice one" - next second he hooked and boated it.

No doubt about that. Just saying this is probably the first event this year where I’m not the least bit surprised to see people “leaning” on FFS. Offshore sonar fishing has always ruled there. Or at least the last 7-8 years anyway. It’s a fun lake but if you are expecting to beat the bank before they get ready to spawn, you are probably fishing for 2nd imo
