    Strange catch at the lake!!

Had to take the day off of work yesterday, so I hit the lake. Caught 6 bass and a brush pile. I got hung in a brush pile and was able to pull on it and see a limb. I pulled hard and reached down and grabbed it and it snapped. I got several lures, weights and hooks off of it. That’s a first for me.

    Thanks guys!!

It’s usually the other wayfor me. The lake is very snaggy and I have lost my share of lures.

Many years ago (maybe 50) I snagged a black and white Hellbender with my Mudbug while fishing a brush pile in Rock Creek Lake, IA. I thought it was a stupid color but I tied it on anyway and caught a 4 lb. bass out of the brush pile.

Are you going to become the new Lure Grab and Sell specialist?
I can see it now on the Lures for sale Page of BBC.

Dang, that fat rap is one of my favorite baits, in that color, wish they still made them. I think I'm down to one of them left.

    Jackpot!

I was in a local tournament yesterday. The fish had lockjaw. Nobody caught a keeper fish. I did catch a 7 foot Ugly Stick I found floating. Yes Virginia, Ugly Sticks float.
