If I'm on a long haul trip, I'll remove them....just local around the house, they stay on.....it's just to remove......less than a minute.

Yep, same thing here. I remove it if traveling with the cover on. It stays on the floor in front of the seats.

Some people take a pool noodle, cut it long enough to go along the top of the windshield, slit the length and slide it over the top edge of the windshield.

The only time I have the cover on is if I going on a multi day fishing trip.
I take mine windshield off I also remove my electronics on the bow of the boat.
and my mega 360. I cut up a pool noodle and cover the mounting brackets.

I have a dual console and leave both windshields on with cover on. For a long trip( 100K miles) I wrap top cap and use pool noodles on windshield.

I added dual graphs on bow and console with M360. The cover fits tight. I don't use cover when going fishing, only when it sits or a few days. When I make my long trip I will remove, the outside console graph, one of the bow graphs, and possible the M360. add pool noodles and wrap as before.

Left it on for 3 years now. Never tow without the cover on. No problems.
