    Which Dobyns

If you wanted a kind of all purpose Rod to throw senkos (weightless Texas rigged and 3/16oz or so t-rig), paddle tails like a largo Shad, dark sleeper, sleeper gill, Caffeine Shad with weighted twistlock, etc. which would you go with?

    A 704 or 705, that's where I'd start with a dobyns

    704/734.

734 is a hell of a rod in the champion line. It can do alot of things. Senko, Trig, swim jig, love it for a horny toad

I run the 702, 703 and 704. For the purposes you mentioned, the 703.

734 if you're wanting to bomb long cast , 704 if accuracy is what you're after. Def 4 power for worm/senko rod.

I agree with a 4 power rod for what you are looking to do. Length and series are more personal preference and budget related.

I use Powell, but similar, the 733 has become one of my favorites and does a good job for the things I used to use a 703 for. Still can be pretty accurate with the extra length. This would be a fast to extra fast rated up to 3/4oz. I'm thinking the Powell 3 power is a lot like the Dobyns 4 power. 734 is a real popular rod for lots of different things.

The Dobyns Champion 734 is the best all around rod in their line-up. Pretty much does everything you need it to do.

Champ 734 would be my choice. It’s a great all around rod.

Agree - 4 power in your preferred length.

Been on a big 763 kick myself. It’s a do all rod for me with 10–12lb line. Will launch a weightless Senko.
