    Go to Golden Channels website. They are very NMEA knowledgeable and can sell you Yamaha plug and play set up.They also answer the phone and will help you with any questions.

    I installed this cable (https://www.lowrance.com/lowrance/ty...face-cbl---rd/)on my 2010 SHO (VF250LA). The cable taps the engine into the NMEA network. I was then immediately able to get all manner of engine data on my lowrance graphs in the data overlay. I now have engine temp, fuel flow, and a bunch of other things displayed at all times.

    I used the exact cable and have it connected to two Garmin 106sv’s.

    NMEA 2000 Engine display options:

    Hours
    RPM
    Alternator voltage
    Temp
    Fuel pressure*
    Fuel rate*
    Oil Pressure*
    water pressure*
    trim**

    * all require separate sensor
    ** requires analog trim gauge to be disconnected you can not use both.

    It drives me crazy on my custom gauge screen on the lowrance I can't add speed bc NMEA doesn't have it as an option.

    On the trim, is it easy to disconnect the analog gauge? I can't see it for my HDS 12 anyways so would be cool to display that.
