    Prop won’t fit

I have a 25 pitch 4 blade fury that I ran on a 2019 Mercury pro xs 4 stroke. I sold that boat and now own a 2021 200hp mercury Pro xs. My 4 blade fury does not fit my 200hp. So I’m wondering what engines this prop will fit. Does anyone know?

Yes, it will fit. You must not be using the correct hub kit.

Gonna have to check again. But the hub kit did not appear to be interchangeable . The brass adapter in the center of the hub seemed to be permanent. Maybe it’s just stuck . Thanks you for the help!

Does the new 200HP ProXS have a 1.25" prop shaft and the old engine was perhaps a 150 HP which may have had the smaller diameter prop shaft? If that was the case, you need to buy a new hub for a 1.25" prop shaft and that hub should fit into your Fury prop.

A socket and a hammer and a few good kwhacks should get it out. Be sure to grease the new hub for easier removal. There’s plenty of YouTube videos

Take the back piece of the hub, the little splined part on the back of the prop, take it out, rotate it in the hub like a quarter turn. Now it's sticking above the back of the prop, smack it with a dead blow hammer. You'll get the hub out. Mine would fool yah thinking it's permanent.
