818 Rod Storage

Anyone know what the max rod length is for a 818 rod locker? Thanks.

I took the tubes out of mine and have a couple of 7'6" rods in it. I think you could go longer, maybe 8' but I dont have any rods that long to verify.

Thanks you for the response! I see you live very close to me, any chance you could let me come look at your setup? I've been trying to find an 818 to look at but no dealer has them in stock close.

I did same as Teamroper but my longest is 7'6" also.

Things may have changed but I have the more narrow 618. With rod tubes in I keep a 7'10 in the box and one day I putt a 8ft stick it anchor in mine. I could not fill all the tubes with 7'10 rods but I could do 3 or 4 I'm sure.

I have the 818, took the tubes out. Can fit 3 8ft Musky rods along with 6 or 7 bass rods without a problem.
