The current transducer is mounted on a pad and is way closer to the prop than the 15" recommended. Does it need to slide farther out or will this work?

It may not be the recommended but the blocks already there and its easy to mount it there and try it. If it doesn't perform up to standards then move it out. Seems like every boat is different and it may work just fine. Good luck!

Looks fine but left side Side image will probably be partially blocked by the gas motor unless trimmed up.
