Garmin best picture in a 12 inch sceeen

Rigging 2 Garmins on my new 2023 boat. 2 Garmin screens dedicated to FFS, one perspective and one vertical with GLS 10s and LVS34s for each. Couple of questions:

    1. Best Garmin screen for clearest picture in a 12 inch screen?
    2. Does the setup above support better picture with an 8612 with the greater pixel count than the much cheaper Echomap or GPSmap units?
    3. If an 8612 is a better picture with better resolution for traditional FFS, is it also true for perspective mode?
    4. Is the 8612 a good picture in direct sun? I have seen the 1222 and it’s pretty good.

Obviously I am leaning 8612, but I have no basis of understanding how much better things should be. Money is there to go twin 8612 but am I really seeing a better picture?

Please explain in any replies if you have observed both options or if it’s just your understanding. Thank you for the replies.

8612 will have a better picture. Worth the difference? Personal opinion. I've never seen a Garmin not be bright enough regardless of model. I've had a 93, 126, and 8616. All have done great.

I ran a 126sv for a couple of years and now have an 8612. The images are better and worth the additional expense for me.
