    House battery…should I consider it?

I am running a 15” Solix and 12” Solix with mega 360 as well as a Garmin 1222 and Livescope. Right now everything is connected to the cranking battery which is a 31 sized AGM. As the day wears on my voltage readings have gotten as low as 11.3-11.5 V on the bow graphs. I put the dash graph on standby when not driving the boat. Boat has always started fine but I do notice it takes a while to recharge it compared to my old system in my old boat which was less of a hog. I am not tournament fishing nor am I using my live wells a lot but if I wanted to would I be in trouble with where it sits right now? Should I bite the bullet and power the electronics separately?

Can either go with a lithium cranker or keep the ahm for cranking and go with a dedicated electronics if going the dedicated electronics route I'd consider our 16 volt dedicated electronics w a run and gun charger. If wanna go w a lithium cranker our PowerHouse lithium cranket really can be beat. Happy talk more about your setup w you and offer you a BBC 10% discount.

Yes, bite the bullet and get a house battery. I spent a lot of time and money trying to get things right. A simple house battery did the trick.

Electronics on a separate battery is the way to go.

I have an ionic 125 ah lithium. I have a Solix 15 and Solix 12 with mega 360 as well as a garmin 1022 and lvs 34 on my boat. It is not in the water so this isn’t exact because I don’t think transducers will ping the same and draw the exact power. I did wet the 360 transducer so that was pinging. I do have other batteries than just the 125 ah ionic but I have that disconnected and I turned off my power pole charge to make sure nothing was moving power around on me. But I just turned all 3 of these graphs on in my garage as a test for you and I was drawing 11 amps on my ionic app and it said the battery will last 11 hours and a few minutes. Hopefully this helps you make a decision as to what size battery you would need for your style of fishing.

I just installed a dedicated house battery (125 Ionic from Drewcraft) to run everything on my 21PHX except starting my SHO 250.

Does the house battery have to be lithium, or will a regular lead acid work?

Just get a 120ah Impulse Lithium and run your engine and all electronics and accessories (other then trolling motor, obviously) on the 1 battery. Simple and easy!

Just add a second AGM battery in parallel with your starting battery. $100 vs $1000. You are not tournament fishing or using live wells.

With the second battery in parallel you will still be at 12V, but will double your capacity output.
