    Adding The Leash

As the title states, I'm adding one to my boat and was wondering if anyone knows the torque that the engine mounting nuts and bolts should be set to?

If you referring to the bolts that attach the leash to the bracket, it's not specified. I called precision sonar, and they did not have a specific torque rating, just said they didn't need to be torqued down super hard bang.gif.

I've got mine torqued to 55ft lbs, which they said would be fine.

If you are talking about motor to jackplate, or motor to transom bolts, you should use the manf's reccomendation, which IIRC is typically 85-95 for mounting to a jackplate, and 45-50 for mounting directly to transom. But confirm those.
