Future Jaguar for sale

Wanted to give my BCB brothers a heads up. My 2022 Jaguar will be listed for sale and available this summer when my next boat is built. It currently has 40 hrs on it and will likely have somewhere in the 50’s at that time. 400 Verado. It will run 80-83 regardless of load and temperature. Can prop to squeeze more if desired. It has just completed its full yearly service from propeller dynamics. I only run non ethanol fuel and anyone that knows me knows how anal I am about taking care of my boats. It gets slick misted/wiped off at ramp then Washed after every outing, always keep sealer and wax on it. It lives its life in my climate controlled shop. I have a 2021 Jag with a 400 Verado. The best I have ever seen is 81.6. Usually 77-79 with fishing load. What prop are u running? I am running a 26 Bravo XS and a 27 Bravo XS. What is your next rig?

Have a good 26 bravo that came with it that I had balanced and blue printed. I also have a hydro motive P5 that’s been made for it. Both are neck and neck top end wise. No power poles

Going to try a Puma/300

As bulletproof of a track record these Verados have I was a bit hesitant to get one of the first 400 V10 platforms. As well without any real world data with it on the back of a Jaguar. Though I'm sure it will be a good motor as Mercury has been putting out good product.

[Bass Cat Boats]

They recently spent time in Florida on Lake X, doing a setup mission. That data will all be out soon on the Jaguar and 400R and it is impressive. The torque, fuel mileage and top end were all greatly improved.

Mercury Racing will be releasing details, looped video, drone footage and images at the Bassmaster Classic, in Knoxville. Their social media campaign starts this week and we have solid data on the new platform. The rig ran loaded into 90’s, with any propeller they threw on it. Jason spent a half day there to learn and Rick spent three days working.

The data acquired is Mercury Racing proprietary data and they have writers working on articles for Boating.

here is what you need

That is an XL series on Yar-Craft and the gearcase is longer also. Theory is we might be able to go L series (20”) on Yar-Craft. That engine will not work well on Bass Cat.
