    Tilt/Trim seals

Since this place is getting more views recently,,,I was hoping someone could point me in a direction to get my seals replaced. I’ve called a few places, but everywhere is a few weeks out. Thanks in advance for any help

    I second Simon's. Even though it's actually called Casey's outboard now .

Probably a YouTube video on how to do it. It’s not too bad - just need a spanner wrench, seal kit, and some fluid.

Im thinking about trying it myself.

Im friends with Casey, and would trust him to do a great job. He’s unfortunately busy, and I need boat for a family trip.

It is a pretty easy job if you have the proper spanner wrench. Buy the correct spanner wrench or you will be cussing those caps and probably end up damaging them. Most hydraulic shops will replace the seals in the caps for 30 bucks or so once you have them off.

There’s another thought…if you have a hydraulics shop near, they may do it for you if you have the seal kit and fluid.
