    Jackplate question

I have a 2004 procraft with a 2012 150 optimax, I’m currently running a 21p laser with a 4 inch jackplate, at WOT running 5,000 rpm’s 50mph but I am running out of trim and not getting enough now lift, would add in a 6 or 8 inch jackplate instead fix my issues?? I tried a few different props as well to no avail. Thanks

Get rid of that prop. Lasers are bad for bow lift. Get you a tempest plus prop.

If this is same motor as in your 06-05-2021 thread ' 2004 procraft 185 with a 2012 150 optimax 25”shaft ' ; 25-inch shaft was thought to be your problem.

This is a 20 inch shaft, I have tried a few different props with a tempest and tempest plus, and had way worse results!

What the prop to pad number.
Should be around 3.50 below pad.
Laser 11 props are ok with a 150 hp.
But the Tempest plus is better.
That motor should trun a 23pitch.
