    New 150ss

Ok trying to decide on rebuilding a 2001 Johnson or repower wit a 150ss . Boat is a Javelin 18 which is 17.5 . Any opinions? Where would be the closest place to repower, I live close to Charleston WV

Gee that choice would take me at least a millisecond to make!

You wont know yourself with the new Suzuki!

Put a note on the dash to remind yourself to turn the engine off before you pull the boat onto the trailer!

Go with the highest horsepower the hull is rated for.

If you have the money and love the boat then repower in a heartbeat. max the HP out for the hull as mentioned. As far as dealers....I know a few but they are a run. it looks like Richmond Marine or Allcraft marine are your closest. Richmond might be a bigger dealer with more product available.

I could not find any 150ss in the system even though its on the website. Bought a DF150a. My dealer said there will be no more of the SS in the 150
I don't always find schooling fish but when I do I backlash on the first cast

Let me know how this works out. I have a Javelin 379 and have given repowering a thought. My concern with the 150 is that it is heavy.
