He most likely just got a better deal with Phoenix. The contingency program might sway somebody if the deal between the 2 manufactures was equal.

It’s like back in the day, Bill Dance was full blown Daiwa through most of the 80’s and then switched to Quantum?!?!? I’m pretty sure it’s always about who’s willing to pay the cash. Most pro’s aren’t brand loyal. It’s all about money. I would like to hear the details though.

Get rid of all the deal boats and lower the cost of the hulls to the real customers

It's a business decision, he stands to make quite a bit of money if he wins in a Phoenix.

Bullet would rather hand down a deal to the consumer than throw money/boats at the Pros that we would pay for in the end.

It should be worth it for boat manufacturers to get all the tv time. How much would that much commercial time cost?$$$$

I think Bullet is making all the boats they can make right now. Tom told me they make around 200 boats a year a few years ago. He said they had a probably built a few more than that but that was pushing them.

Hard for a smaller boat co to compete with the contingencies of the bigs. Especially a guy like Buddy who seems to sniff out the wins/high finishes on a regular basis.
