    86 Champion Project

    I bought this 86 champion 17'6 last year for a father/son project. The gelcoat was all faded and oxidized along with alot if electrical and plumbing work needed. The boat belonged to an old boy that passed on and his family wad liquidating the estate, it had been in a barn out back for years. I will post pictures of our progress.

    Boat looks really good and solid. The OX 66 Yamaha has a good history of holding up well also.

    Classic colors of champs back then. Just can’t beat those boats. The gel coat on those was as near perfect as you could get. They took pride in the finish back then on Champs.
