Lost Knob for Lowrance AT (1st gen)

I lost one of the two knobs that goes through the trolling motor bracket. Lowrance wants over $50 for it, and you have to buy the bracket assembly. Was able to finish trip with a bolt but would like to put it back in its original shape when I get home. Anyone know where else I can get just the knob?

Post an ad in the "Wanted To Buy" section here. I'd bet you get a response right away. Sure someone has one laying around to send to you!

For $50 I'd just use a bolt with washer from the hardware store. Take the other one to your local mower repair shop, they might have something that would work.

Yeah I would buy a mount that does require you to loosen a knob. I got extra knobs, but I plan on keeping my adjustable mount when I sell, and putting the old mount back on.

If you send me more info I might have what you're looking for. If you have a pic and know the length and thread size that would be even more helpful. PM me with this info and I can probably hook you up.

It's the same knob used on the unit Gimbal mounts.

For $50 I would figure the thread out and find a stainless thumb screw replacement elsewhere. McMaster is a good resource, but the will charge you a good amount for shipping. I would start at the local hardware stores.

Lowrance uses a metric bolt. It's an M10 if I remember correctly.

Before you buy verify that it is an M10, because I may not have that correct.

Absolutely. The factory mount is junk. I run 2 of these and they are legit.

Thanks for all the input while I fished Lake Rosalie down here near Camp Mack. Got an 8-0! in the Kissimmee grass after the day started at 53°, windy and rain. Just one of those days when things went well after two weeks of rather disappointing fishing.
I was able to find a metric bolt and washer at the local Rural King. It’s actually a less weedless set up since the grass and pads down here really tear up all that crap we’ve got hanging off the trolling motor these days.
Since I’ve got it fixed for now, once I get back home I’ll pm you guys that offered to get a real knob. I can’t remember the exact size but it was a metric fit and larger than the diameter of the knobs used for graph mounting..
