    RT188 off season updates

    Hey guys I wanted to share some of my off season upgrades I completed on my rt188.
    I added storage compartment and deck led lighting throughout the boat including the livewell and bilge area. Added USB adapters with a dedicated switch and a ram mount under the console. I removed the rod breaking cleats from the rails and added fold down cleats. I also removed and modified the top to my unusable deck step, added a hinge, matching latch and carpeted the inside.
    Installed livewell vents to the livewell lid and most importantly replaced the maxxum with a ultrex.
    Thought I would share and would be glad to share any info or tips.

    looks great!!! I'm been working on my new rt198p as well. can't wait to get on the water for the break in. it's still feels like winter here in iowa

    Excellent. The Ultrex is the finest accessory I've ever purchased. Also changed out the cleats and added one by the console to tie up from drivers seat. Got the Rod Straps, too. Added 10" gas shocks to front compartments.
