    Ford F250 Brake life?

How many miles are you F250 guys getting out of stock brakes? Specifically later models from say 2011 on?

Thanks Bryan. I had a rear tire off to patch a nail. Rear brakes looked like they were getting close. 63k miles.

(2012 f350 w/6.7) I got something like 80k miles on them before I had them changed. I can’t even remember if it was front and back or just front, been too long ago. I’m always loaded down though, so typically get a bit shorter life. Actually been one of the most repair free vehicles that I’ve owned. Kinda scared to buy something new.

The newer Fords are really hard on rear brakes. I will say I don’t do much work on F250’s and up, but on the F150’s and SUV’s they eat rear brakes. Talking like 40-50k miles or less at times. So don’t be shocked if the rears go what feels like early.

Thanks…I’ll have a rotation due in a couple months. I’ll be sure to check front and rear.

I have a 2018 f150 with 48k miles, guy at the dealership told me they needed to be done at my next service, actually thought he was trying to get over on me. Lol

Asked the place where I get my inspection…he said I’ve done good to get 60k out of them.

I got a little over 60k on the ones on my 2018 F250 Limited. I do pull trailers, sometimes heavy ones on the farm.

It's a 2013 F-250 and I've had the pads replaced one time, never touched anything else on it brake-wise.

Had to replace the front pads on my ‘13 F250 at around 60k miles. In all fairness though it was lifted and I was running 37” tires. Just traded in my’20 model with almost 60k miles and pads still looked new, that one was bone stock.

My 2003 F250 with 308K is on its 5th set of pads and 3rd set of rotors and has been a puller all it’s life.
