    New Triton!

Picked up a 2023 TRX 19 Patriot. Traded in a 21012 Ranger Z119. Has a Ghost TM, HDS 12 and HDS 9 with Active Target.

Congratulations. I've only had mine out for the break in. Hoping for better temps in our part of the state soon. The 19's were rather scarce when I was shopping for mine. I did a lot of comparison shopping and found the 19 TRX Patriot to be one of the best values out there. What color and any pics?

Nice. I like the lighter colors. I had my dealer order the passenger console as part of my deal. I figured it would take months to get but it was at the dealer 2 weeks to the day after they ordered it. Only problem is it had the wrong windshield so waiting on a new one. I pulled all the batteries, sold them and replaced them with lithiums. I haven't had it out yet to see if the weight loss affected anything.

I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Does the 80lb trolling motor push the boat around good or do you think it should be bigger?

Not my thread but since I just got a 19 TRX also I'll butt in. The 19 comes standard with a 3 battery 36 volt set up for the Lowrance trolling motor in the Patriot series. The Ghost is switchable between 24 or 36 volt so you could run it on 24 if you wanted. The little bit I've used it the 36 volt is really powerful. I'm not sure how it would perform with 2 batteries. My guess is just fine since at 24 volts it produces 97 pounds of thrust. The 36 volt is 120.

As jtrac mentioned the Ghost has 97lbs of thrust at 24v and 120lbs of thrust at 36v. That being said my old Ranger with a 80Lb Minn Kota did just fine.

I have a TR196DC with an 82lb thrust MG Tour and it will throw you out of the boat if standing and it's on high and unexpecting. lol

Congrats on a great looking boat! Have a Z119C myself and still love it!
