    Umbrella rigs

I'm trying to figure out if I can use dummy baits without hooks?

    Rule reads:

You may use an umbrella rig (sometimes
referred to as an Alabama rig), but hooks or
lures can be attached to only three arms of the
rig. Any additional arms must be left empty or
can be fitted with a hookless attractor.

What is a hookless attractor? If I cut the hook off a another swimbait, is that a hookless attractor? Or only blades?

I spoke with DNR a couple years ago about it, Dummies are fine as long as there is NO hook present. Might want to call them to validate if it has changed.

Igot cheap hooks and cut the ends but still left a little bend to hold the swim plastics. Whole metal part gets buried in the bait.

Dummies are fine to use. I show my set up I used on Hamilton Lake in Indiana in this video below. Dummy placement is important.
