We live in eastern North Carolina retired,my wife wants to fish Gunterville.She only throws topwater and spinnerbaits.Fishes only a couple times a year.Whats a good time to come to catch a few fish and do you know a good clean,safe,and boat hook-up place to stay?I fished ABA Championship there many years ago.Thanks for the info.
Someone else would be better on time of year but Waterfront bay will be hard to beat for a place to stay. I like the bigger cabins but all have covered boat parking, lights to rig at night. Next door is gas station, bait store and breakfast. Ramp directly across the street and its mid lake.
Anytime from mid April to mid May.
Goose Pond Colony or Waterfront Bay.
