    A 60 actuator wear pad

    20230311_152321.jpg
I pulled the dust cover off to check the
Break fluid leavel on my trailer (Marine Master)
And I found this I assume it the wear pad.
Am I on the right track or is it something else.

Pretty sure that is the wear pad that sits on the top of the actuator.

What does the “wear pad”? And please don’t say “wear”

Definitely is the wear pad. It looks like one of the tabs on the corner broke and allowed it to slide out of place.

Wear pad sits on top if the inner member and between the shock absorber rollers. It reduces friction (aka wear) between the inner & outer members.
