    E225fplssh 2000 225 evenrude ficht won't start

2000 225 evenrude ficht won't start unless you use starting fluid the it will run all day.
New fuel pump 25 to 30 psi
Pink wire on silinoid has same voltage as battery when cranking.
    Good compression
    1000 cranking amp new battery
Temp sensor in air box changes resistance with temp.
My question is how do you test the cold start assist I'm reading about.

Never use starting fluid to assist starting a 2 cycle engine. Washes away essential internal lube needed during start up. Use a 50:1 2 cycle oil and gas mixture in a spray bottle.

Is it cold out? these engine have to spin fast to start, these engines wont even throw a spark to the spark plugs unless the motor is spinning at 200 RPMS (200 is the number , I think?)
Hook at timing light to one of the plugs, try and start it, if the timing light doesn't light, then its not spinning fast enough.
You can remove one spark plug and try and start it, with that plug removed the engine will spin faster and start up, once it gets warm it will run all day

I wrestled with my 99 FICHT 200 for years, same issue.

I found, If I was going fishing in the morning and I knew it was going to be cold, I would start the motor the night before, warm it up good, this would help with the cold morning start ups

    good Luck
