    Floor repair

Cut in a recessed tray, and ran into this void in the floor. Removed section seems to have the plywood, port side of remaining floor doesn’t have this middle section. It’s about 3 to 4 inches of the 15 inches I cut. 1993 Stratos 201. Can I make a peanut butter and fill this void with out any concern about heat from the epoxy setting up? Should I cut plywood and epoxy back in the void. All the freshly exposed plywood edges will be treated with west system epoxy.

Better pictures attached, will a expoxy peanut butter work to fill in the void? Or is there a better method? Pictures shown the port side the starboard side and the section I removed.

So I cleaned out the area tonight, really don’t think plywood extended all the way into the cleaned out area. Plan on making a epoxy peanut butter mix and building out the void to flush it up, sound reasonable
